    Help Needed On Electric S1

I thought I read a post on a electric S1 here in AU, but don't seam to be able to find it. We have a member of the Qld Rover Car Club who is wanting to go down that track with his S1 & is looking for some information on the adaptor housing between the motor & gearbox . Dose any one know were I should start looking.
    Thanks Wayne

Checkout vintage restorations on YouTube. These guys in southern NSW have a few series projects going but one is an electric vehicle build. Very interesting videos.
    Cheers

Adaptor plates are not difficult to make but by far the easiest way is to use CanEV "Rover adapter plate" , thats the path I took as by the time I calculated the materials plus $50 an hour for my time it was cheaper to buy, and have it right first time.

I know this is probably not the one you are looking for but still one of the best done to this date despite 5 years old, IMO.
    Swiss-built all-electric Series I — LRO

There is also Jaunt Vehicles — Jaunt here in Mel with his Series 3.
However the thought of a Series gearbox on an electric motor....

goingbush, absolutely believe that but you will agree that it requires a driver with mechanical sympathies to keep the gearbox last. I like the Swiss conversion having only a LT230 and Quaiffe diffs. m

Correct you are. My next conversion will just have a transfer case and a single 2:1 reduction before that.
