The rolling diameter thing is also important. The 109 had these on it when we got it. 33x12.50 R15, 0 offset 8" rims. Turning circle issues aside, the poor old Series could hardly turn the things, and the deleterious effect on the brakes was quite scary. But they fit and looked "tough".
