    Lovely Speedometer restoration

My Jaeger speedometer from my Series1 80" was dead and had been so for some time. With new or NOS speedometers now costing over $1,000 plus plus, I decided to send mine off to Howard Instruments in Melbourne for a complete restore, including new hair spring, recalibration from miles to kms, new dial and new bezel.

Howard did an amazing job, and I could not recommend them more.

    cheers
    Jeff in Perth.

Wow, that looks awesome. You have set the bar very high. Now you need to make sure the rest of the car is in concourse condition to match...!

You must of got lucky because back in the 90s/early 2000s the company I worked for (English car specialist) used Howard instruments regularly and had a number of problems. To this day we still do not use them.
Make sure it works properly before further recommendations.
