G'day All, I have just returned from a trip down Sth, and as we were leaving Tarcutta (a small town along the Hume Hwy) the good wife noticed 3 Land Rovers sitting in a small alotment, 2 Series 1's 107", 86" and a Series 2/2A 88", no I didn't ask re their status, but they are just over the hill as you proceed Sth on your right, or the last property on the left as you head Nth, anyway cheers Dennis
    PS No pix either sorry.

G'day All, Well seing it's a sticky, there are quite a few Series 1's in and around the Grawin Opal fields, I do have some fuzzy pix of them, only 1 appeared to be in any sort of use regularly the others were in varying states of disrepair, and yes easily seen from the road, cheers Dennis

    i lied...part V !!

    just some bits I noticed...

short panel between rear wheel arch & door,
3 pop rivets across this panel (horizontal)
    blinkers in front guards
    3 gear levers/selectors

I assume this puts it somewhere about 1954??...this is just my guess
going on what Ive been told by people etc who mainly used to own similar
    ones....

please tell me the year if you can --to stem my curiosity!!!

(I wasnt crawling about to get the chassis no, didnt see/look for body number plate inside...)
