You don't need to consult CalVIN to reveal that, just look at the tub, the mudguard stay and the front bumper and you know it's a 107!

Do you think he trying to hide the exhaust stack coming out the LHS of the bonnet and mudguard?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    Trafficators / Switch

On 80" and early 86"/107" vehicles the switch on the steering wheel is the high/low headlight dip switch. Later the dip switch was located on the floor.

On 80" the trafficator switch is fitted firstly offset near the windscreen wiper depending on whether it is RHD or LHD then in late 1949 universally in the centre of the windscreen. Trafficator blocks are only fitted as standard to 80" vehicles from about 1948 Vehicle No 860750. They allow the trafficator to be mounted vertically.

Later Series 1s have either a bracket bolted to the side of the steering column or on a panel beside the instrument panel for the trafficator switch. They also have a bent sheet metal bracket for the trafficators.

None of them are cheap! As Mick has said eBay is your friend. Blinkers are more recognisable to other road users and less likely to get damaged or stolen.

thanks but I have on full "box" set of trafficators (100's I think) and a pair of I think old ford trafficators (no box- TEX brand) so Id like to put them on screen of "juan" (and may also fit some sort of rear indicator at least)

the se100's are 12v so OK, the TEX's are 6v so more hassle!

I was looking for something to do blinkers etc with as the horn arm is where the magnatex would normally go, my father says that he recalls just a plain 3 way toggle switch on the horn arm was apparently common.
