Cant find any decent 2nd hand seats and cant force myself to spend the cash getting them from England so I asked the boss if I can get mine re-covered Looks like I can ... probably gotta help out at this weekends garage sale tho

Well - Thanks to Wannalandy (cheers again Mick) I have 2 brand new Dunlop Super Grippers for the ol ute with a couple more to follow, once I find where I can get them for a respectable price (205R16LT). Then she will be looking great with new boots

Mick came thru here today on his way to Cooma (photos mate, photos), giving me a hand with keeping the work on the ute going Looks like I shall be back into it over the weekend... wheels on, more black paint around a small section of the chassis and then finding someone who can re-cover my seats.

Will keep the photos coming once I get some more work done.

Well Troy I am going to make my own new bases, my ma in law will happily sew the covers up in vinyl or even canvas and I can just pad them and pull the covers on and staple the back edge and then do the calico covering on the bottom to dress up, dont have to be a genius to sew the covers mate, they are only square squabs, doubt an upholsterer would want much, think I am only having two seats, will fit a something tween the seats not sure yet

Your all sorted done well. Me being a lazy bloke who would prefer to get someone else to do the sewing for me will wait and (more than likely) go for the easy option.

I have been looking a fair bit on the net for replacement seats and they are very expensive when you chuck freight on them. I have been told of a local bloke who does a good job for a respectable price so I shall investigate that further when the time comes
