Hi there Aaron
The SA Club Rego - My understanding is that the Club diligate is to inspect the vehicle for roadworthiness and originality. I know there is alot of hype related to Holden Engines fitted (which is allowed interstate but not SA)
I am not to sure which club you in - but the club inspectors:
Land Rover Heritage Society - Alistar Brownrigg (Adelaide) & David Christie (Wilmington)
Land Rover Registery - Peter Brown (Adelaide PCB Land Rovers)
But the do give you paperwork with engine no's & chassis numbers to take to motor rego office for registration.........
Looking forward to seeing some pictures Aaron
All the best

It has been originality inspected by the Military Vehicle Collectors Society. I paid my membership fee to be a financial member of the Land Rover Heritage Society in 2007 and never received anything from them - no minutes or information paperwork to tell me when the next meeting was. As far as I know, under the Clubs and Associations act, they are obliged to have six meetings a year, and to send all of the members the minutes of these meetings. So I have gone off Land Rover clubs for the time being.
I will try the "It's one of these numbers, I don't know which one trick". Else it will just have to go for an identity check. Just an inconvenience.
Aaron.
