Got the bonnet and the vent primed today (well - I painted it on thursday and it was dried today .. with the heat gun)
Might wait to apply the Bronze Green - get stuck into tidying up the doors etc first
I do need to tidy up around the chassis ... I can do that too.
is a pain . Most of the panel shops have a heated booth or workshop for painting .
In cold conditions, auto paint ( depending on what type ) can dry with a frosty whitish appearance . It doesn't cure correctly and if you read the instructions on the can, often it gives a minimum ambient temperature requirement.
Summer is a more appropriate time for those painting jobs .
OK - So I have given the painting the flick for the time beingBut here are a couple of photos out in the sun (that's right - I found some sunshine) today
...
So I missed the sun ... but it was there for a minute - honest !
Just love the Bronze Green![]()
Coming along very nicely.![]()

Thanks all.
Looking at the photos - I reckon Olmate could do with a wash and polish as well![]()
Hats off to you mate!
Nice to see another Landy saved
You have done a great job, and i hope to paint my 88 that green one day
James.
Looking terrific Troy.
It seems to be sitting up high? Is that because the springs haven't settled or just an illusion because of the 7.50x16's.
