    Hi there

Hello there Wayne - Yes, I have been wondering where you have been ... Just thought that you were busy with work. How is the Fire Fly going mate?
Been very busy at work, they keep talking of a recession in Australia but work hasnt got any slower with us (But "U308" is a well sort after product).

As for the "Firefly" its going well but slow - will post some pictures next week...

Not too much done today (after a big night last night) Got some stripping done in prep for the next attempt at painting and mucked about a bit in the shed.

Got the bonnet and the vent primed today (well - I painted it on thursday and it was dried today .. with the heat gun)

Might wait to apply the Bronze Green - get stuck into tidying up the doors etc first

I do need to tidy up around the chassis ... I can do that too.

    Spray painting in WINTER

is a pain . Most of the panel shops have a heated booth or workshop for painting .

In cold conditions, auto paint ( depending on what type ) can dry with a frosty whitish appearance . It doesn't cure correctly and if you read the instructions on the can, often it gives a minimum ambient temperature requirement.

Summer is a more appropriate time for those painting jobs .

OK - So I have given the painting the flick for the time being But here are a couple of photos out in the sun (that's right - I found some sunshine) today ...

So I missed the sun ... but it was there for a minute - honest !

    Just love the Bronze Green

    Thanks all.

Looking at the photos - I reckon Olmate could do with a wash and polish as well

    Looking terrific Troy.
It seems to be sitting up high? Is that because the springs haven't settled or just an illusion because of the 7.50x16's.
