1st make sure its had a good soaking with WD40 or something similar, as the unions/fittings that go into the master cyl arnt easily avalable.

Shall do. I have also got myself some decent pipe spanners that will come in handy. I am expecting a bit of a wrestle from it.

    Troy,

I found that I had to use heat from a gas torch to get things apart. If your drive train is out it will also make for easier access. I sent mine off to an Adelaide crowd to put a stainless sleeve in as part of the refurbishment.

I can see that I may be doing the same thing with the old unit. Will pull all things apart first and see what needs attention (probably the lot)

Well - the other half has me busy building stuff about the home but I will get some time tomorrow to work on SHorty. Olmate needs a bit of TLC first up but I will make a start on tidying up my seat backs for Shorty.

If I have time I will fit the replacement gauge panel that I have too

What a day - Olmate now has her thermo fan, rear work lights and spotties working again Don't know what was going on there Cleaned all of the joiners in the linkages for the throttle and adjusted them all, removing slack / slop etc

Then onto Shorty - seat backs are off a donor tub and, as they aren't coming apart readily, they are now covered in WD40 to loosen things up (will get back into that during the week). So it was onto some painting around the back of the Landy. Looking good and that's enough for the day - beer o'clock now
