well to bad for australia then because im leaving soon as my hsc is done
Tony,
You have the satisfaction of knowing what you did and how it now looks.
Comments from others that refer to lack of engine are typically immature of that age group.
You know the pain so try to ignore negative souls.
Computer glitches happen and usually at the worst possible time, we have all experienced that, some more than others.
But you made the effort to rectify the situation, and teachers who are insensitive to students efforts probally should not be in that venerated position?
This project is just one part of your HSC and all the other subjects are just as important as the landie, but also need your undivided attention.
Its time to move on and give your best to the rest of the curriculum.
Thats what matters at the moment
Good luck and dont give up, Australia needs young men of you calibre and dedication...![]()
well to bad for australia then because im leaving soon as my hsc is done

Tony I am very disappointed with what you said
You have great friends here to give advice and help when they could
You have done a terrific effort for someone so young...restoring landy's....so yes Australian LR enthusiasts will be 1 less restorer![]()

Hey Smurf
Get your teacher and your class to log on to AULRO (as guests) to see your thread with 8819 views and 444 replies, and the list of people who have learned things from you while you've been learning.
Seriously, in this day and age, your ability to seek information and communicate with the world to solve problems is an essential skill, and this thread is a document of your work and methods that should be part of your assessment. Not to mention the accolades you have had from the many masters you have been apprenticed to online.
You're an inspiration, mate. Send the link to your teacher.

I would do that. I would also be interested to know why AULRO was banned. I have difficulty thinking of any valid reason.
I am astounded at the effort you have put into this project, and the ability you have shown in doing it. Certainly more than I was capable of at your age!
