Maybe give it a name and use that?

try some old names.... cyril, bert, edgar, ronald (the landrover), larry (the landrover), juan, (as in the series Juan!) maybe check out grandfathers or great grandfathers names?

did we get the chassis numbers in the end?

    keep up the good work.

    Interesting,

My mum, a real Londoner, called my S1 when I was at school, 'Genevieve' after the the film Genevieve (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

She had grown up in London at the time the film was made and her parents had worked at the Ealing Studios helping out here and there and strongly associated the S1 as a very English thing.

I hated it at the time as it was really uncool as Anthony Maeder always said his 53 was called Winifred which was twice as uncool.

I still refer to this 80" as it origional number plate PR 458, but still think of that connection mum made when I was at school in the early 1990's

Maybe you should have someone name you S1, even if it isn't something you like

My 80" is Larry the Land Rover, & to quote the movie Highlander, "there can be only one"!!

    Good progress by the way.
