Page 8 of the document. Philip had problems with Burnt exhaust valves over the whole trip. Even when using Leaded fuel still available in Australia at the time.
Turned out to be a timing issue at the end but shows that there is nothing wrong with Unleaded and all this Lead additive stuff is just a hype. Making you spend money on stuff unnecessarily.

Kris, I use "Octane Supreme 130" as a genuine Tetraethyl lead replacement in my '74 350SL Benz. A mixture of 2.5ml/litre 92/98 unleaded adds the required lead and raises the octaane by 1 point. You can of course add more, resulting in more octane points.
