MJ Juan makes just about every thing for the WW2 jeeps
they make the complete split rims so the bolts won't be a problem.......

They look like a short cup head bolt.

I would expect the Jeep bolts to be NF thread, but the Landrover ones to be BSF - so it depends how close to original you want to be whether Jeep ones are satisfactory. (And reproduction ones today are likely to be UNF!)

We picked up an original 80" LR detachable rim in Western Victoria and it had at least 3 different threaded bolts, all looking original and one even having a course thread.

I would think that having a set with a single common thread would be an improvement on that situation even if it were NF.

It occurs to me that it is very likely that similar if not identical bolts have been and are used in agricultural machinery, and a visit to an rural tractor and machinery parts supplier or a bolt supplier in a rural town with a sample is likely to be productive, and probably cheaper than anywhere else. Probably won't get BSF, but certainly UNF and UNC and metric.

Who were the makers of L/R split rims ?
I think Kelsey Hays made jeep wheels...........

I also think that Kelsey Hays made some of the earliest branded 80" Land Rover rims, or at least a makers mark that could have easily been Kelsey.

Regarding the thread type for L/R split rims.
The Yanks used whe same wheel nuts for the rims as to the wheel to the hub, standardising parts.
Now were the Poms clever enough to use the same wheel nuts to rim/ hub fit

That is far too logcal to come out of the UK! ;)

The Brits can't even use the same length studs in the top of the swivel housing or same length bolts around the water pump.
