No it's a SIIa hardtop roof cut down into a truck cab. The rear wall is the side wall of the hard top.
How do you tell.
- Series 1 roofs have a gal nose that overhangs the top and side of the windscreen without a front gutter.
- The series II/IIA/III roofs have a gal gutter that goes around the front of the screen.
- Series 1 windscreens are wider at the top than SII/SIIa/SIII roofs. Remember that S1 walls are vertical and overhang the top of the tub by about 1/2" each side, while the SII/SIIa?SIII taper in at the top.
Well I called the guy again to find out when I could pick it up and he left me a phone message to tell me he'd sold it to someone else...
Last talk we had he was going to call me in a couple of days, about 3 weeks ago now, to tell me his dad's final price. He said someone turned up one day and offered him cash on the spot- $420.
A little disappointed.
that sucks
******.
Oh well - plenty more out there. :)
Oh well not to worry.
I've just bought an even better project.

wow that chassis looks nice and tidy well done!!
looks like you have the reinforcing on the axles like mine too
I'm very happy with how tidy it is.
The reinforced axles are, I think, part of the military specs.
I posted more pics of both here:
