Hi
Would they be complete diffs, housings and all from a range rover.
Looks like I am not the only one who spotted that terrible drag link!
and I found the details of these codes - what they cover - here:
National Code of Practice
National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification (NCOP)
A more complete listiof mo codes from here:

Might be worth putting this in a seperate sticky somewhere... any suggestions as to which forum ? Possibly the technical one ?Quote:

So someone finally bought it. :)
series 2 coily
The mod codes have been discussed previously. Hope that helps.
If I remember correctly, it has 3 fuel tanks in there but they aren't hooked up. And multiple fillers. It'd make a good project but I decided I didn't have the time, and wasn't really keen on chasing down the paperwork for the mod plate. It'd be good to know exactly what was included on that mod plate. The plate was dated 2004, so the conversion is not that old.
G'day LRO :)
That chassis No is interesting,943*****B that reads as 6 cylinder Ser 3 109 RHD Ckd :o by that blue compliance plate, the rear X-member is civilain series, the tub looks like 2/2a military with a SWB station wagon top, series 3 door hinges, the front and rear axle assembly are Classic Range Rover, and it looks like it has been towed by the drag link, or towed to be loaded on transport  the chassis no might be the sticking point when it comes up for rego, could well be the reason for it's sale :(
cheers
Hi
It does have 3 fuel tanks, but the pump is not working. It is a Facet pump of the cylindrical shape with the outlet on the top and the inlet on the bottom.the engine does start straight away and we can drive around the front hard. Not to sure about low range as when I put it in low range it travelles at the same speed as high. Just to make sure I am doing it right you pull the red lever back and push the yellow level down. I will try and track down the guy that did the mods on the car. I think he lives on the south side of Brisbane
G'day LRO :)
The yellow lever will engage 4 wheel drive HI-range only, BUT by just pulling back the red lever will give you LOW-range, it also pops hi range lever back up, so to dis-engage high range 4X you pull the red back and move it back forward to give 2 wheel HI range :)
cheers
