Ball Bearing at end of Steering Shaft??
Once again I throw my problems at the Rover brains trust. My steering wheel in the 71 2a has a ball bearing at the wheel end which has enough play for the wheel to flex noticibly.
Problem 1/. Do I have to remove the shaft to get the bearing out, I've got the steering wheel off but cant get the bearing out.
Problem 2/. When I do get it out a cant seem to find a replacement, even Paddocks and Craddocks in the UK dont do it and I doubt that the bearing shops will either,
Thoughts anyone??

Hi
Don't know about taking it out [haven't had to do yet]
But have you looked into the secondhand market?
You must be able to pick one up one easily.
Maybe someone on here can point you in the right direction
