another 10 hrs with my nose to the grindstone saw the lights finally fitted to the radiator support panel, stripped the old guards of the light fittings,.
the guards i am fitting are late 59 guards and they have only one hole in the front panel so i will have to holesaw some for the fittings i have. there the one step back for that two steps forward...
stuffed around with numerous other things like taking the implement brackets off the old guards .
rebuilding thee steel part of the offside mudguard.

Can always change it later, but once the hole is cut, you can't change it back, and those panels will be spoilt forever.

they already have smaller holes in them where the previous lenses were prior to me getting hold of them ...
i am just going to add one big one on each side :p
