It stood thru 13 years of rain, hail, storm, heatwaves and god knowswhat all!! Waiting for me to be picked up look after it and it only took newdistributer, coil and fuel pump to bring it back to life .
Yes friends it started today were extremely busy with workand had no time with everything else around the house... But i was both surprised and glad how easy wasthat startup!!:)
Motor sounds good NO leaks to original radiator love thecooper … next step overhaul of brake and clutch plus some work towards carbyrestore..
Your find looks so straight and genuine!! Well done!! Wish I had those panels on SWIMBO's Ser 2! How bad is your chassis then?? Get it stripped down and then make decisions re chassis... $1000 goes a long way with chassis repairs! :)
Hi Mate,
Chassisis bit of a disappointment.. Both rear cross member and front bit has seen thru itsage and are bit of a concern.. Decision decision get this fixed ($1000) or get a wholething as new as it can get… Got quoted $3000.00 by Richards chassis i.e. doorto door.
But i guess it's still fair way before i can get to it ..
