finally found out what was doing it the wire from coil to distributor had one stray strand of wire touching some were its shouldn't of been touching and making the whole dissy live after fixing that it started up straight away not very well but running sweet as after adjusting points (forgetting to turn ing off so very hurty) next thing left to do is see if oil leaks are fixed also carb overhaul thank you all alot for helping me i wish i could buy you all a drink but theres allways time
