I'll see if I can find something - I have my doubts though, I probably have the same manuals as you. I used to have one of these, but I sold it, and I doubt I have any pictures of the setup.

I've hung onto my disused butterfly valve (the engine was originally in a military Series III) for two reasons:
1. I might one day want to change to boosted brakes and, even more importantly......
2. I don't like throwing out bits of Land Rovers
Thanks for your thoughts on the exhaust manifold and turbo possibilities. Generally the consensus seems to be very much not to stress the ol' 2.25D with a turbo, but I understand the temptation.

Well today I bit the bullet, and ordered a set of 4 injector nozzles for my 2.25 diesel motor, from craddocks in pommy land. Even with DHL Express freight, it's still cheaper than buying local. Lucky for me I checked this time. I saved about $140. They should be here by the end of the week. Cheers
Well, I cleared my work bench, such as it is, and "found" my 2.25 diesel injectors. I decided that it would be a good time to replace the blocked up injector nozzles. So I undid the very tight "cap nuts", as they are called, and went on to removing the old nozzles and fitting the new ones. Easy. Not! As I was tightening the first couple of cap nuts, I heard a crack noise. I thought I should check it out. Bugger! I've cracked 2 cap nuts. I was just tightening them about as tight as they were in the first place. I sure stuffed that up. So the last 2 were tightened almost as tight. I'd forgotten the nozzles were a tapered seal to the cap nut. So I need a couple cap nuts or injectors now. Hope to arrange it asap. Cheers from a heavy handed landy nut!
Wow. Got the replacement injectors yesterday, pulled the cap nuts off, cleaned them up, and fitted the new injector nozzles to the 2 injectors I stuffed up the other day. Thanks to the man who sold me the bits. Arrived so quickly too. Aust post pulled their finger out for once. Anyway, I took the self overhauled injectors to the place that tested them for me, and told me the nozzles were buggered, to get the breakaway pressures set. NO! they said. They will only do that if they overhaul the injectors themselves. They had quoted me a couple years ago, $180 per injector, with new nozzles fitted. So I went to another injector place, told them what I wanted, explained to them that I had set injectors before, years ago, on chamberlain and John Deere tractors and machinery, as I had explained to the other joint, and he said OK! Minimum 1 hour labour charge tho. No problem I said, they take less than 10 minutes per injector to set the pressures. They are very simple, these CAV injectors, to set. Got the call today. Job done. All good. Paid the 1 hour labour charge, very happy. Crack off pressure set to 141 bar, about 2045 PSI. Great. Pleased with the result. Will get to fitting them one day soon. Also, I will be going back there tomorrow to talk to the turbo guy about a turbo for it. Something that gives about 3/5 lbs boost. Should get the old girl moving a bit quicker. Cheers
