    Drive hub bolts

    Gday

Im currently working on a series 2a replacing the front wheel bearings, the threads in the hubs are damaged but i can use longer bolts to secure the drive hubs.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me find them, 3/8 BSF 2 inch long high tensile. I'll need 12
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Dave

You could drop a UNC or UNF helicoil in if you can't find the 2" BSF bolts.

You can buy recoil (thread repair kits) in BSF over the counter at most bearing suppliers. You'd probably want to have the hub off and mounted on a mill/drill table to do the job though.

BSF bolts are getting harder to source, especially in HT.

The standard length bolts are cheap out of the UK 215331 | Drive Flange Bolt - Paddock Spares

The other option is a couple of secondhand hubs.

    G'day Dave,

Try "Lee Brothers" in Parramatta Sydney for BSF. They have been in business for years or they may know where to get them.
