Help I've made a mistake with some bolts

Hi guys, well I've made a bit of an error with my restoration in that to remove the twisted bumper ( with seized bolts) I've angle ground the bolt heads off thinking they would drop through the bottom. . Anyone any idea how I can remove the bolts?.
    Thanks heaps for any suggestions.

The bolts wont come out the bottom. You will have to split the nuts or cut them off somehow and remove them from the top with a magnet. Good luck.

Hi David, welcome to the forum - Cutting those bolts off from the top - been there, done that.

A couple of things to try - small grinding disk in a dremel, air chisel, hacksaw blade, drill a couple of holes through the nuts then split them off with a sharp chisel.

I used a combination of a a dremel, hacksaw blade, drill and chisel.

Got them eventually, but it's not much fun.

If nothing else take some solace that you're not the first to do it and I'm sure you won't be the last.

Get a thread started on your resto so we can see your progress and have a central point to ask all the questions you want to - and will need to, to get this done.

Exciting stuff , I got the bolts out by drilling the tops down to clear the top hole which enabled the nutted ends to slide down and out far enough for the angle grinder.... so pleased😀
