    Marcus,

Calvin has it as a CKD 88" IIa Petrol somewhere between 62 & 71. VicRoads has it as 1971. The suffix G should narrow it down a bit
Clifton Scientific Text Services, the Netherlands

Engine number 24124510A on VicRoads. I'm sure someone will know the tie up between engine & chassis numbers.

According to the above, 'G' chassis is 69-mid 70 'A' engine is 61-62.

Well, the old Mr Chops isn't backward with belting out a tune and is rather light on his feet when he trips the light fantastic when it comes to Landrovers. Yep, I know us tone deaf flat footed types are a bit anal when it comes to heralding the arrival of our latest prides and joys.
But, I do like to see what other people have got, perchance to dream. (tone: pensive)

Yeah, and I'll have to take you up on that offer.
Next time I mount an expedition to that side of town.

Are you any where near Fountain Gate. Whenever I venture in that direction, I always manage to get lost and end up in the Fountain Gate car park. Don't know how, it just happens.
