I have a plus 35 badge hanging in the garage. Totally unaware of it significance
JDNSW will hopefully chime in.
Hi all
Just saw a plus 35 for sale in Victoria on gumtree.
I understand these are pretty rare.
are they really that much different to the regular series 2?
Cheers
Angus

Plus 35 was a marketing activity. Basically they put in "35% stronger axles" and stuck a badge on to try and win some market share back from Landcruiser. I have no idea if the axles are any stronger, I do have one (NOS) as a spare for my IIA and it looks exactly the same as the stock axle - supposedly they sourced them from a supplier with better quality materials. Probably worth something extra to a collector but really, nothing to go nuts about. At least that's my opinion
Cheers,
Adam
The badge might be worth a few dollars but not sure about the vehicle (it's just down the road from me). Looks like it's been standing idle for some time.
