    Hi

as a matter of interest, i am chasing pics or info on series ii vehicles being driven with the windscreen down as they did with series i vehicles.

love to see some pics and or info on how they restrained the screen etc etc

When i drive my s2a with the screen down i just tighten the hinge bolts up tight. Never had a prob even when passed by a truck in opposite direction at 100kmh in my s2a.

    Cheers Rod
I also meant to say i rested the screen on the spare tyre

Dave, if your asking re your S2 C/R, it should have a loop on the spare tyre mount on the bonnet and a loop on the top rail on the windscreen, the loop on the boonet had a short strap with a buckle, this was used to hold the screen securely, also on the edge of the top rail (windscreen) there was a rectangle of material riveted to it to sorta act as a buffer, can do images tomorrow if you want cheers dennis
