Thought I never see an little screw jack again.....I made one of these way back in 87 when I was doing my pre-vocational training at TAFE.

Come to think of it I haven’t seen mine for awhile.

Yeah, my screw jack is a TAFE job too, from about 1983. The other TAFE tool I made was a bush drift, but I can't find that anywhere . I also had a mate of mine help with some welding last year, and when he came around, he brought his TAFE screw jack too, which looked pretty similar to mine.

    Cheers,
    John

A couple more progress pics ...

    48403591_2141272929467419_1319808836919361536_n.jpg49348539_2141248462803199_4241948772294197248_n.jpg

All painting done, fuel tanks in, clutch filled and bled, yet to fill and bleed brakes. Working on electrics at the moment, got enough wiring done to hit the starter on Sunday to see if it cranks over and it did !. Hoping that this coming weekend will have the braked bled, then put some fuel in and start it !!

    Cheers,
    John

    Looking great John,

I'm working on electrics at the moment as well , but I reckon you'll be out on the road well before I am.
