Tikirocker,
Have you looked at fitting parabolic springs to Bronson instead of the standard heavy rover ones?
Keep the pics coming as like some of the others I am getting around to restoring my 2A and your pictures are good for motivation.

Hey Karl!
Thanks mate, will do ... I was going to fit parrots-bollocks a couple of years ago and I actually bought some and returned them as they had surface rust on them and were supposed to be new! I won't say who they came from though ...
At that time though I was tossing up between going with para's and standards but then a mate of mine from another forum did some of his own engineering to standard leaf springs and ended up with superior articulation to para's and thats the system I plan to go with for the rebuild ... and why I am looking for a decent used set of front leafs from a shorty. Here's a pic of his Series truck on modified Rover leaf springs.

Yes ... leaf springs! https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
that's some nice articulation!
how do they modify them? remove a couple of leaves?
cheers,
bryce
Hey Bryce.
Yeah there's a bit to it and you have to have them re-tempered and set etc to whatever heights you require but essentially removing a few leaves is one of the main things and then doing adjustments to the shocks etc ... I'm still working out the science of exactly what my 88" is going to need but I'll let you know more when I get a bit further down the line with it.
awesome!
looking foreward to your next update, Tikirocker!
cheers,
bryce
