    If by the grommet you mean the rubber boot on the side of the bell housing that the clutch shaft passes through, don't bother fitting a cheap one, they are absolute rubbish and will almost be perished by the time you get things back together and operational.

    Parts turned up and fitted. Not a mm of slack any more. I haven't set to by the instructions yet been I did move the lever down to take the movement out of the arm. Ajusted the push rod untill it touched the slave. Jumped in the car and now have a working clutch. Thanks all the the advice.
