Couple of items ticked off today:
- New engine mounts fitted (still need to do the gearbox mounts)
- Fitted the rear brake line to the rear diff (and the brake line support bracket)
- Played with the carby (running better)
- Got in trouble for working on the land rover and not on the house.
Some parts arriving this week:
- Rear propshaft
- Shocks all round
- Rebuild kit for the rear diff (bearings and seals)
- Gaskets for the gearbox plate
Pack arrived
- New rear propshaft

- mirrors for the wings
- gearbox gaskets

Waiting for my shocks to arrive too from the UK... maybe these where mine! ;)
Today I pulled the rear diff centre out to replace the gasket and missing nuts. Cleaning the old gasket off proved to be a crap job. Particularly with the diff in the car!!!
Loose fitted the rear propshaft, before being dragged away by the family [emoji16]

I like to use lots of sealing goo as well[thumbsupbig] two of my diff housings have the wired bolt arrangement that yours have so it possibly continued into the 2a models
