    My little Series 2

So we are on a family road trip from Melbourne to Goulburn and back. The trip back will be a little heavier.

Original engine (runs on in all gears) , very little rust, no brakes (which is standard...)

    Great little truck!

We are still on the road so more updates to come!

Here is some more pics, include my best mate and his trailer potty...

So the list begins, so far:

    - brakes (there's none - has anyone fitted a booster to the brake system on a s2)
    - sloppy prop shaft on the rear
    - alternater bracket cracked
    - rear lights n indicators
    - bolt the roof to the body

Great little truck, starts first hit of the button. No rust in the chassis, a little repair on the fire wall that need some attension.

Very happy and excited to get into it!

    What a cracker. 👍

Regarding brakes, get them all rebuilt then see if you need a booster. If you feel you want one, a remote booster like a VH44 can be installed. 👍
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Yes. Was looking at the dash vent winders, thought it was earlier than ‘63.

By the way, when you do your strip down, look after those winders, hens teeth...

    Good pick up, well done,
    Peter
