Both of our books are for SII and SIIa, as stated on the front cover. These books are better than the straight SII book, as they detail the difference between the two vehicles.

Downloaded mine from scribd as a PDF. Printed the whole thing out on the work printer. A couple of hundred pages, all for free if I recall correctly. I think you have to sign up to get it.

If you still have the bolts, nuts washers etc they can be acid cleaned & replated but do not include any Ali bits or they disappear in the bath.

I took a bucketful to a now non existent place here & they did the lot ok but it was a few years ago. Phone around.

It is getting hard , most councils are putting such harsh environmental restrictions on Co's doing chrome & zinc plating most of them are closing down . The costs are so high the Co's afford them & if they try to pass it on th the customer they don't want to pay.

Well as I said,it was a few year ago & also adjacent to the old Islington Railway Workshops & they too have disappeared so it's not surprising I suppose.

The land is now Costco, Bunnings, Fuel Outlets & various other establishments.

It is a changing world we live in today.
