    SII Zenith (copy) Carb question

Gday All, I havent worked on a series LR for a number of years.

Im about to attempt mounting the Zenith type carb to a series 2.25L engine. On the manifold there is a spacer, I need to get a Zenith mounting block to sit on base of the manifold/ carb bottom. P/N 554175 according to parts info I have.

Question: Do I use both the existing manifold spacer, and the adaptor block? Or does the adaptor block the only one used? Guessing its self explanatory when I get a adaptor block.

I dont have the vehicle with me. Not sure if its a SII or SIIA as yet to find numbers etc , someone has tried adapting a Stromberg carb from a Holden engine but it failed. Look forward to advice Nighthawk.

The spacer is still used between the manifold and the adapter block. You could easily not do so but the spacer is meant to be a thermal insulator which is needed.
