not in this place mate, some of us go to some pretty moderate lengths to help people out...
2 minutes out of a day while in front of a PC, not even worth the froth on a cuppa-chino, its all about the pay it forwards mentality. you might be a godsend piano tuner, jeff over there is a legendary arbourist and can sharpen a chainsaw so well surgeons call him to get tips on scalpel maintenance, Me I swing spanners pretty well and have been known to have the knack of keeping the smoke in a wiring harness.
now I dont know if you actually are a piano tuner but.....
one day I gave you a tip on how to do something sparky that tied to a mechanical adjustment, in turn you talked jeff through replacing a tuning a broken piano string and then he taught a surgeon how to sharpen his scalpel and then lo and behold 3 months later while I was getting my knee hacked on the surgeon mentioned jeff who'd shown him how to sharpen his knife because Jeff had been given the free advice on how to sort a piano from a bloke who was paying forwards a repair tip on a mechanic...
sounds far fetched...
It works, I've already had payforwards come back several times and usually when I needed it most.
just rememeber, generally around here there are no stupid questions. the exception is the one you thought of but never asked.
welcome to the fold.
