I would do something like that if I could get my hands on a decent S3 heater, but they're so expensive! The hot rod one I'm looking at is less than $500.

I have a series 3 heater sitting in my shed. Fan, core, heater box, new fan switch and may be some other bits.
Fan bracket is rusty but easy to make a new one.

At the risk of high jacking this thread.....

I have a a round smiths heater, that I intend to install in my 2a, but I'm not sure where the control for the water valve should go.

Is there a standard place for the control, push/pull cable a bit like the choke I guess ???

Likewise for the fan, I presume an on/off switch goes somewhere ? Any clues where the standard location for that is ?

    Thanks
    John
