Hello, I just wanted to say so very sorry for your loss cannot help with value of the series 2 but sure others in here will have an idea and a good home will be found for it
Hi Landy nuts,
My husband, a Landy nut, has passed away. He sold his series 3 last year, and his disco has just gone, but he never got around to his series 2. It was his grandfathers. Its rusty, there are extra canopies and parts. It now falls to me to move it on. Can anyone help me with a price ball park figure so that I know what to go with?
Many thanks,
Ellen.

Just found a post from him just before he was diagnosed. His name was Cary,
“34 years one landy”
Thanks Dragon.
Does anyone know how to link this post thru to the series II section?
Condolences Ellen. I have located Cary's post and it is attached. Unfortunately given the condition of the Landy and the fact it is in WA ( limited market without freight costs), my guess would only be a few hundred at best. The fact that it has a Holden motor also devalues it IMHO but others should be along that may help you get a more accurate figure.
34 years one landy.

Can't help with a value, but echo the condolences. Losing your partner is incredibly hard. Folk here are really understanding, as I found out.
Wonderful country down there. My SIL lives near Torbay. I hope the sound of the waves helps you get peace.

Hi,
I’d echo the sentiment of others and pass on my condolences.
With regards to the landrover, as some others have said, it’s not worth a great amount, the level of rust and the Holden motor mean is a big challenge for anyone taking it on.
It’s unlikely to be worth over $1000, probably half that unfortunately.
Let us know if we can be of any help.
Paul
Thanks Pauls, Ron, Jay.
