    Fanbelts.

    G’day all.

I fitted my fanbelt today only to find it’s way too big. I looked in the parts manual only to find that I think I’ve ( well I have, no real think about it ) ordered the wrong one.

The parts manual has 247920 as the correct one vice 550224/530590.

My question to the gods is how long is the 247920 ?

Does anyone know of anyone who stocks them ?

    Thanks in advance.

Go into your local Repco Shop. They will have what you need.
    I get mine from them.

For anyone else reading (and in case Repco can't help you) I bought a generic 980mm v-drive belt that works fine.

And if Repco dont have what you need, any good bearing place will have what you want, just take the old one with you.

Which reminds me the S1 in my sig will be going for a longish run shortly, need to check there is a spare belt packed away....

Sorry, Can now... The full signature doesn't show in the app, as has been noted, a lot of stuff is now not showing in the app.

It’s in my avatar as well.

That pic was actually taken in 1959 in Timbuktu.
