These wrecks of any interest to anybody?

I know nothing of "series" land Rovers, but there are couple sitting on a remote block that owner wants cleared away.
NOTE: Both vehicles are as remote as you can get in WA (Wyndham). I live 100 K's away (Kununurra), but went for drive and took some pics.
I have no economic interest in these vehicles, just saw a local Facebook mention and went out to have a look, as aware that some are restoring such vehicles and may need parts or such.

The ute has intact drive train, but rough body (that is how I see it), and the wagon is reasonable body but nil drive train after motor. (Key in ignition??.)
Might be suitable for somebody looking for project/parts, BUT they are at the ends of the earth. Think owner would off load for about $200. I mention this to indicate what value he has on them. (Tell him he is dreaming??)

I just attach pics in case somebody knows what I was looking at, and in case anybody wants to talk with "owner" about options.
If any interest PM me and I will pass on owners details.

If they were in a reasonably accessible location, they are probably worth around $500 each, perhaps a little more, if closer inspection showed condition more accurately. In that location????

Apologies for pic quality, I had to "shrink" them, so about 10% quality of original pic.
Location is too long a distance to be viable, but before "seller" sends all off to scrap (as he wants to clear his block), there may parts/glass, whatever, he is willing to sell off.
There was a short wheel base, which was fairly intact, and that found a home very quickly.
I drove a 100k's out to see them, but I think the tyranny of distance makes these wrecks unviable for anybody to salvage.

Looking at Google maps I was thinking that they might be of interest to someone in Darwin or Broome, as Wyndham's about half-way between the two, but it's 1000ks from Broome, 900ks from Darwin and even Katherine is 600ks away!

    Big part of the world.

A bit off topic, but sort of related.

Reminds me of Cape York, there are hundreds of them up there, many on remote properties, rusting away.

There is actually a fence built out of them at one place,i will have to dig out a pic.

I think these wrecks will just have to be content to go to Land Rover heaven.

If anyone is retired and looking for a project, a road trip across Australia to get a project vehicle should be seen as an adventurous start rather than an insurmountable obstacle. I would seriously consider it if I was in that situation even from my location which is on the opposite corner of the continent. I've done the road trip several times just to see the country, why not with an additional purpose?
