Thanks Mark
The pink bit is the fuel tank hey, the truck spent the last few years up the cape so every thing is covered in red mud. that pic was taken befor I took her home and cleaned her up. Even after a good gurney there is still red mud every where!

full chassis rebuild including a new rear cross member brakes etc - full rego it was all done for Cooma
Cheers
yes i have a series 2a, under restoration at present,
I've got a '69 2a 2.25 petrol just like this, same colour/ragtop/s3 grille/rangie diffs/no rust (took care of that when I bought it as a rolling chassis)
Was my daily driver for 7yrs to MMAL, til they stopped producing 380's last April, now she's under wraps awaiting development time/funds (household renos take priority, apparently) :o
Bought a truck cab roof and rear section for it a few years ago, then managed to score a full tropical hardtop last year, which is being stripped/repaired and un-dented at the moment.
Fortunately I managed to salvage some metal finish tools from the MMAL garage sale, which should make it a bit easier, but having a pit wouldn't go a miss either.
And for some reason, Huntsmen spiders love to live in the ragtop nooks and crannys, they also like to jump on your lap whilst driving, even had one tag along for a trip to Coles, freaked the checkout chick out as it crawled up the back of my shirt and politely sat on my shoulder waving at her.:D
