Very interesting my Series 2 is 143800485. Its amazing to think these CKD units would have been rolling off the assembly line at the same time. Tell me do you Series 2's have the Series 1 gearbox mounts? And do they have the horn under the left front guard in a really hard to reach place? Do you have the badge on the firewall which says it was built by the coach builders in Sydney?
LORD MACCLESFIELD, would you happen to be from the adelaide hills??
(using the name as my "clue")
if so are your vehicles near the bull creek area?
If so I may have seen them some time ago....

My old 58 with a 2ltr engine lives on Straddie and if I could buy it back I would and I would fix what I did to it when I was young and stupid.

Does anyone else have the time to take on a '58 Series 2 complete with it's original 2 litre motor ?
I now have one too many projects and I'm considering whether I keep the S2 or let it go.
Colin
You should keep it. :)
Its a rareish truck and besides, you're tempting me and I only just sold a Landy to make room. :(
