Gunbuggy.
Aaron.
Ambulance, perhaps?
:)
Geoff
Isn't there a seat in the back of the Gunbuggy for the gunner to sit?
My mate's Gunbuggy currently has three seats, but as far as I know, they are only meant to have two front seats. There is only two little windscreens, which happens to be a pain if you are the middle passenger in his Gunbuggy. The barrel is meant to go in the middle.
Aaron.
Same friends two ambulances have three front seats.

thethink,
You win:)
She is a 1963 Series 2A Ambulance, one of the few originally fitted with a Capstan winch.
Aaron IIA,
I can't say what the later Ambulances had in the way of front seats, but the early ones had a tool box between the front seats.
The tool box still has the original rubber "grip pad" glued to the top of it. I beleive this was so the drivers off sider could step through to the back of the Ambo while on the move.
I've included a couple of photo's FYI..
Cheers

All of the ambulances are only supposed to have 2 front seats, but all of them have seats for 8 in the back (or 4 stretchers ;)
I recall seeing that ambulance on e-bay some time ago, the rear has been modified for camping hasn't it?
G'day Phoenix,
Yes that is the same Ambo. The only mods are a couple of peices of ply hinged to the walls with chains suspended fron the ceiling to act as bunks.
It is pretty original apart from not having the original strechers and various medical kit in the rear.
It seems to have been painted white at some stage, maybe UN.
Do we have any details about which Ambos were set up for UN work.
I seem to recall some were preped for the UN to go overseas (where I don't know) but never ended up going?
This vehicle has not done a lot of work....
And yes I haven't forgotted to the the info for REMLR as discussed etc:)
