Thread: What is this?

Thanks for all the responses. I was thinking of using my existing oil bath air cleaner as is, and this Donaldson type shell as a different type of snorkel. Perhaps adding a paper element air cleaner to it. Will look different and I think, quite cool!

Aah! what a blast from the past that looks like a well fitted out 2a camper conversion gunsports, has long range tank (probably one on the otherside as well, second Left hand tank probably water, 240 power socket in the pillar, side steps and both driving &fog lights behind a well thoughtout brush bar, looks to be well travelled too, probably been set up in the 60's or 70's and still going strong aircleaner setup is standard donaldson complete with precleaner, this was most common on the guards of Landcruisers from the 60's through to 90's only sensable way to deal with B*lldust in outback quantities.
