Once you have worked out what roughly you want, go and see Brad at Triken at Miranda (I have absolutely no connection with them - just bought my paint there :D ) - he'll talk a glass eye to sleep, but what he doesn't know about auto paint, it's history etc. isn't worth knowing. The working out he did to mix my paint would be a mathematicians nirvana :Rolling:
You spraying it yourselves? If you need a spray gun, let me know. Can't help with a compressor though.
I hadn't actually seen that paint chart mick....But I have seen one on the forum which I believe was the original chart for the 2 and 2a which had about 6 colours on it....I would like to stick to an original colour of the time...hence hoping someone might put a pic up with their series boasting these colours so I can see what they look like on a complete vehicle rather than a swatch:)
Yeah I do have a paint gun....used it to spray my disco bonnet...but highly considering having it professionally sprayed on the outside. Just because I could never do a job as good as a pro and I really don't have the space to spray these panels up at my place.
I only have a very small shed! when I sprayed my bonnet I think I killed a few brain cells and I was wearing a respirator :lol2:
