Looks good Wolf, certainly be interested in the numbers given it seems to be a fairly late one.
There look to be a few things missing like the bullbar and corner protectors but I have seen others with those gone as well. If you want the Game stickers that go on the front guards I have a source for some reproduction ones if you want.
The individual number will be stamped on the plate fixed to the interior side of the firewall, behind the gearsticks, in case you didn't already know that.
Cheers,
TimJ.

Yes, thanks TimJ, it's probably in the last lot ever made.
I noticed the bits, missing here and there.. Found it odd to have no bull bar.. Hopefully I should be able to get the bits, to put it back as it was.. All the trim is there, just needs repairing..
Seats look good.. It also has two, two seater bench seats in the back.. Overdrive isn't fitted. (It's in a box, in the back, must be stuffed), although I have another one in a 109.. It also has electronic ignition.. Apparently, factory fitted :o. Just needs a new clutch kit to get it mobile.
In time, should have it ship shape..

Could one of the moderators, please remove (Delete) thread #'s 21, 23 and 24. I won't be getting this Game as the owner decided to keep it. Good news is that I won't loose my deposit.. Pity, I REALLY wanted it.. Bugger..

dead game
here's some sad photo's. Parked up in the middle of a hundred odd wrecks at the local tip. May have been worthwhile rescuing if it was in civilisation, but it's endured many a wet season and the photo's make it look better than it really is. no 90336446A, couldn't see the chassis number thru the rust on the chassis.

It's a Land Rover. Everything can be fixed. More so the rarer it is. I trust it's not in NSW though...

Over here in Perth, I have been restoring a "1977 Series 3 Game " for the last 7 years, and starting to get to the end of that with only the top roofs to paint, finish the carpeting, and redo the dash. The engine, gearbox, front end ,complete new wiring loom ex England, all the yellow and black bits redone in two pack, had a local sign co make up 2sets of Game and Roverdrive stickers, and so far only managed to obtain 3 of the original rims. It looks like I might be able to get a set of 4 from Peter Hesford in Nhulumbuy.
My build no is 164
Chassis no 90333269A (which ties in with the 166 you quoted)
A friend of mine also had thebuild no 162 and was in excellent condition
Hope this fills in a few more holes
