Guys feel free to tell me what you think it's worth or pm me and make an offer, thanks- Dan:).
i think you would struggle to get 2k for it
i dont have much experience with army ones so dont take my word for it but the reason i said you would struggle to get 2k is because it is not running
I think the biggest reason you wont get much is that it has no engineering :(.
Even with engineering and running it would be worth about the equivelent of an old county plus maybe $1500 for the series body and canopy. (what you have is a series 3 with county spec running gear)
So tops i would say $3500 (engineered), as is now (parts) $1500???..
IMO - if its rego'ed don't sell it, just keep driving and enjoying it and just pray that the lack of engineering issue wont raise its ugly head and bite you on the bum.
thanks again for the feedback guys - I think its a good project for the right person or even for the parts it has. At the same time it's not going to be everyon's cup of tea cause its not original. There's no engineers cert' but I can put people in contact with the landrover specialist who did the modifications.
If someone comes along with $1500 it's theirs- I do reckon it's worth at least that in parts. There are 4 bridgestones on it that are 80% + they were about $200 a corner. And the rest - the running gear, the accessories etc. Happy for folks to come and have a closer look, but tyre kickers should not waste my time. My number is 0425 729 375 or PM me. Would prefer to sell it to a Land Rover fan instead of an ebay buyer.- Cheers :)Dan
It might be better scrapping it and parting it out...? Especially if you can't get an engineering cert.
you will get more money selling it off as parts but you can always try selling it as a hole unit first
