Couple of years ago I saw a Range Rover at the auctions with a 265 installed. Looked very neat and professional. Had a Quadrajet and extractors, sounded crisp. Makes good sense, 25% increase in capacity, not a lot more weight particularly with the heavy iron inlet and exhaust manifolds gone, as the hemi used thinwall iron casting technology, and with a bit of tuning an easy 250 tractable street horsepower, or 300+ if you want to go the whole hog. And a bonus in Qld, six cylinder registration.
