OK i havent realy done that much to Harry of late but i did start to pull the engine down..

Hey Banj, why not get a "genuine" 2.25 litre Landy engine to replace the "unoriginal" one!!

Engine is ok .Pistons are standard so i will just put rings on them..Replacing all the bearings there all 10thou over so order them getting all the gaskets this week plus the bearings..
Not 100% sure what i'll do with the head yet as the green one still has the original aswell so been thinking of getting a couple of BLACK 202 heads as they where the first 202 to run unleaded fuel & they are the same 12 port head apparently so just gotta check up & if i;m right them they BOTH will get the BLACK head so i dont have to use the addetive as i always forget to put it in..
SUSPENSION comes this week to & i'll finish off the front of the chassis for the power steering box & also cut out the gearbox Xmember so i can make it a bolt in job so i dont have to take the floor seats & seat box out to get the box out if it needs to come out for any reason later..

Hi Jason, as usual your full of extreamly great ideas for improving and moding series 3's, I've got a blue 202 in Rusty and would love to know if the Black head is a straight bolt up job? Cheers Steve.

Hi steve i'm pretty sure there the same head only the inlet differant for the fuel injection on the black..When i was looking at all the gaskets for mine everyone said to suit 202 blue or black..

We have a old HOLDEN wreckers near us so i'll ring them to **** out plus double check with a mate who owns an engine rebuilding business to make sure..If they are i will be getting 2 of them..
I think all the black 202s where all fuel injected but dont hold me to that..

It would be so good not to have to use the addetive as its a real pain specialy since i use mine as an everyday car..



Hey does anyone have a set of military rear shackles cause i dont have any..Plus i need a set for the front..
The ones i took off Harry are just some hacked up bits of metal..
