Keeping a close Eye on progress, Banj!!!:D
Well havent done to much realy still cleaning front end bits & painting them ready to go back on..I got the rear springs yesterday arvo so had a break in the rain today so put them in & rolled the diff into place..If weather is ok tomorrow ill take the wheels off & pull the rear apart so can clean all the parts up & paint them..has to have an engineer go over & under it so if its clean & shinny they be happier.Plus got to have a blue slip & i know he goes over it with a fine tooth comb..
Took some pics..

Swivels are going to take a couple of payments so will be awhile before they finished..
Tryed to put more pics up but they dont seem to be working..i will try later..
Banjo, what is the paint you are using? Killrust or another similar one? Looks nice - I used to use a few of those paints on car chassis parts but some end up going dull or look more pasty and not really black so wondered what it is you're using?
Curious too - why yellow? Is this to be a common theme on the whole rebuild?
Its KILLRUST epoxy GLOSS but you have to stir it realy good or it will go dull..I use a thick coat where posable if not i put 2 to 3 coats on..The yellow is just paint i had laying around & i want things nice & clean for engineer & for the blue slip..The car will be ORANGE & BLACK but since i had the yellow thought i would use it up but it should look OK against the orange & black..Plus with everything clean & painted it makes spotting oil leaks easier..With epoxy i brush it on where i can cause when you spray it on , With all the overspray its like walking around stiff as a board & your eyes can become closed for a few hours with overspray on the eye lashes LMAO...
Heres the 2 pics that wouldnt load yesterday..
