Thread: MEET Harry Highback

Have'nt done any work on Harry as i've been working on the wagon..

A small update as ive been working on this & the wagon..

The roof is now finished & as smooth as a babys bum..Just need to paint it..





Ive also made 2 of these there for where the wires come through the baulkhead under the bonnet & one for the passenger side.Just need a bit more polishing & they'll be finished..



Also cleaned all the brake drums & painted them, They where going to be black BUT i seem to have run out of black so there now yellow.





Thats about it for now..

Gonna be a technicolor Landy, by the look of it...

Sweet looks like fun..I have my first wagon aswell now ..LOVIN it ..V8 5 speed YAY..did you start a build thread for yours ..Ill have to find it..

I'm going with a 300TDI and hopefully upgrade to an R380.

I haven't started a thread yet, but I have plenty of photos and will start one soon.

Nice work on yours by the way, it's encouraging for me to keep working on mine!

WOW had to dig this thread out..Did'nt realise how long its been since i updated it..Theres no real update..Wagon has gone now but minus the 253 holden V8 & nissan cab star 5 speed which is now going into Harry..Pulled the rebuilt 202 outa Harry the other day ready to weld in the new engine mounts to the chassis for the 253..Will start on it as soon as the weather cools down..Theres fines for welding & grinding in this hot weather..

Young Tony is coming to take the rebuilt 202 & series 3 box & a whole heap of other parts .I need to deglaze the front brakes on the green on as the squeeking & Mick88 also said to swap the drums around so the turning in the opposite direction so will do that aswell.But with no garage to work in its a bit hot to get out there in the direct sunlight & i really dont need the sunburn..BUT looking forward to getting back to Harry soon..
