Bagged a Series 3 ute

Nice looking truck you have there Korg, regarding the miss fire, I had a problem with my Moke a couple of years ago and it was the spring steel clip inside the rotor button that holds it onto the d flat on the dizzy shaft. It came out and would move around enough to throw the timing out and miss fire, with the rear cross member, I had one made at my mate's sheet metal shop. It came up pretty good and now there is nowhere for dirt and crud to get caught in the back of it like on the original type.

Can I ask picture No 11 is that a power take off? I'm only guessing due to what looke like a shaft attached to a geared housing that looks like it might attach to the transfercase. If so thats cool never seen one before will hopefully get my hands on one in the future as I would like to use my landy to slash the padocks :D

Couldn't help noticing your comment about using a slasher on a Landrover pto.
There is one thing that should be fitted to a slasher before you use it on a Land Rover or a tractor with a live drive pto, that is a overrun clutch on the pto shaft.
The reason for this is with a normal pto shaft fitted to a live pto, the momentum of the slasher keeps driving the transmission after the clutch is disengaged, this can cause the slasher to continue to drive the vehicle forward.
Just imagine slashing up to the fence and pushing the clutch to stop and the tractor or Landrover continues straight through !!! :D:D
